Volume calculation on mining objects
Brief description
Based on the measurements performed using the laser scanning, the 3D model of the object surface is developed. It replicates the real terrain of the object in smallest detail. Based on this model the volumes of mine roadways, dumping sites and non-coherent material are calculated. The removed and dispatched volumes of product are counted at the comparison with the surface model of previous measurement cycle.
